A Day in the Life, 7/14/2016

“I work on the Monitoring and School Support team. The Division of Specialized Instruction is initiating the cohort, ASPIRE, a Special Education Leaders initiative. I have worked to create guidance documents, coordinate pre-service trainings, and compile a resource guide. As a current special education teacher, I value the initiative ASPIRE because it is creating Special Education Leaders that are leading special education instruction, along with ensuring quality operational  compliance. As an aspiring Special Education Leader, I plan to use skill sets acquired from this program and continue to build special education content knowledge.”
